Story

As the Doom Slayer, you wake up in the midst of chaos and immediately join the fight against demonic forces that threaten the entire colony. The story is presented briefly and serves mainly as a framework for the action, supplemented by records and details about the UAC experiments. You gradually uncover the background of the invasion and the origin of the hero himself.

Gameplay

The game is based on fast movement, precise shooting and an aggressive play style. A key element is Glory Kill attacks, which reward players with health packs and encourage constant close combat. The arsenal offers classic and modern weapons, each with alternative modes and upgrades. The game also features level exploration with hidden collectibles and equipment modifications.

Technical state

DOOM runs on the id Tech 6 engine and offers smooth animations, striking lighting effects and detailed demon and environment models. The title is characterized by excellent optimization, thanks to which it maintains high frame rates even on weaker hardware. Mick Gordon's dynamic soundtrack underlines the pace of the combat and contributes to the overall intense atmosphere.
