Assassin's Creed® Origins overview
About the game
Origins is an action RPG set in ancient Egypt, where history, mythology and a personal story of revenge collide. The game is based on the famous Assassin's Creed series, but brings a significantly more open world and deeper RPG mechanics. It offers a magnificent environment from vast deserts to fertile Nile regions to monumental cities such as Alexandria or Memphis.
Story
As a player, you take on the role of Bayek of Siwa, the last of the Medjai, protectors of the ordnung and people. His personal tragedy sets him on a path that ultimately leads to the creation of the Assassin Brotherhood. The story is full of political intrigue, power struggles, dramatic events and emotional moments, with the relationship between Bayek and his wife Aya playing a key role.
Gameplay
The gameplay focuses on dynamic combat, stealth, exploration and the gradual improvement of the character's skills. You collect equipment, weapons and armor, which you can further customize. The open world is full of quests, treasures, secrets and activities — hunting animals, uncovering tombs, fighting in the arena and random events in the landscape. The use of the Senu falcon, which serves as a scout from above, is also essential.
Technical state
The game offers a detailed development of ancient Egypt with a rich landscape, a distinctive lighting style and sophisticated animations. Thanks to the open world, the environment looks vivid and believable, from storms to sand dunes. The authors paid attention to the historical atmosphere and realistic depiction of life during the reign of the Ptolemies.
