About the DLC
Hearts of Stone is a story expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from CD Projekt RED. The DLC expands the base game with a new storyline set in the surroundings of Novigrad and the Oxenfurt region. The expansion focuses on a strong story, new characters and moral dilemmas.
Story
Geralt becomes entangled in a contract with the mysterious Olgierd von Everec, a nobleman plagued by a curse and personal tragedy. The enigmatic character Gaunter O'Dim plays a key role, whose influence permeates the entire story. The plot focuses on themes of desire, the consequences of decisions and the price that must be paid for the fulfillment of desires.
Gameplay
The DLC introduces new contracts, side quests and unique gameplay situations that expand on the original mechanics. Players will encounter new enemies, bosses and unconventional fights. The expansion emphasizes storytelling, dialogue and decisions that have a direct impact on the development of the story.
